The Chapel is run by a trust independent of the churches, but nevertheless it has strong and friendly links with them. It is a member of the Small Pilgrim Places Network. It is a partner chapel with the bridge chapels in Wakefield and Rotherham, both run by the Church of England, and the Lady Chapel on Mount Grace in Osmotherley, a Roman Catholic shrine. For photos and links to our partner chapels' websites, see the 'Partners' page on this website. It also recognised as a place of pilgrimage by the Roman Catholic diocese of Leeds, who have designated it a place of pilgrimage for the Jubilee Year of 2025.
